September 2003

Dear Christian Believers,
September God bless you in the glorious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

2003 We recently had our annual Christian Family Fellowship, “Family Reunion 2003,” and I believe it was the best we ever had. It was an exciting and refreshing event. Teaching and taping the “Led By God’s Power,” class before a live audience gave us a great atmosphere of believing going into “Family Reunion 2003.” Reunion means . . .“a gathering of a family, a reuniting.” It is important that believers fellowship. That’s one of the founding principles of the early Christian Church in the Book of Acts.

Acts 2:42-43
And they continued in the apostles doctrine (the Word of GOD), and in FELLOWSHIP, and breaking of bread and prayers.
And fear (awesome reverence and respect) came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

This is what happened at our reunion, we continued in the Word of GOD as the it was preached, taught, heard, and shared among the believers, we fellowshipped all weekend long, ate together, and we prayed and sang praises to God together. Many were healed and delivered by the Word of GOD spoken and others were personally ministered to for specific needs. One woman had an affliction for 32 years, and she was delivered, and set free from her torment. After her deliverance she was asked, how do you feel, and she said “I feel like I’m walking on air.” Another person was delivered of a 20 year affliction and has a new freedom and newness of life. The Word of GOD preached and taught brings deliverance and it encourages those that have afflictions to seek help and to receive their deliverance.

Matthew 4:23-24
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of diseases among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick (epileptics), and those that had the palsy (were paralyzed); and he healed them.

Jesus would preach and teach and people came to him, evil spirits couldn’t stand the power of his Words and they would reveal themselves. Lepers came forth and cried out for help, the paralyzed, the blind, the man with the withered hand stepped forth and was healed, and the list goes on of those responding to the spoken Word. When we fellowship together at a home Bible study or in larger gatherings such as Family Reunion 2003, we increase our opportunity to “...take upon us the fellowship of ministering to the saints,” as declared in II Corinthians 8:4. To all that worked to minister to the saints, WE thank you. To all that came and were refreshed, comforted, and exhorted, We thank you. And most of all WE thank GOD for the privilege we have to FELLOWSHIP with HIM and one another. Let us Continue in the Word of GOD, and in fellowship with GOD and one another. Let us preach and teach the gospel at every opportunity so that men and women might be set free from their afflictions and that they might have eternal life. Let us get involved with the fellowship of ministering to the saints.

Love You!
John
