Isaiah 49:15-16
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Dear Christian Believers,

It's the beginning of another New Year! I was blessed again this year to be able to spend time with believers over the holiday break. There was a mini Youth Advance in Orlando , Florida the day after Christmas until right before the New Year. Cathy Reichel taught a little over 20 of us youth about Christian counseling. We learned the importance of listening, helping people realize what they want or don't want, and how to help them achieve their goals. Mainly we learned that if you just listen and ask good questions people will figure it out themselves. (I guess that is why God gave us two ears and one mouth, right?)

This past weekend I realized that miracles could be normal situations with God's phenomenal timing. It's just God's timing that makes the certain situations phenomenal. In Genesis 1:14 it says: “God said, let there be light in the firmament of the heaven and divide the day from the night: and let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years.”

In the Bible times people kept track of the days, months, and years by the movement of the stars and planets, much like we do today. When Jesus Christ was born there was a lot happening in the stars. The stars and planets presented themselves in a very unusual way leading up to Jesus' birth. It was normal for the stars to be that way at that time, and the Magi had been studying the stars and planets movement for quite awhile. It gave the Magi, the smart people of the time, a clue that something big was happening. The stars and planets were shifting and taking their place since God created the stars and set them in motion. It was God's perfect timing that made the motion of the stars and the time of our savior's birth so significant. God had it all figured out to the tiniest detail! How perfect is that?

Are the stars so bizarre that we have no understanding of what they are? If our loving heavenly Father is a God of timing, and simplicity, then why do we wait for something to cosmic to happen before we will believe God and His word and trust Him? Something cosmic has already taken place: the birth, crucifixion, and resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:4 & 5:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
5 Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of His will.

God's love is unconditional! He chose us before the foundation of the world, because it gave Him pleasure, not because we were good enough. God knew that we would mess up, but He loved us even when He knew we would mess up. That is how much He loves us. How many more signs do we need?

I love all of you; always remember how much God love you.
