Excited Saint,
Gods's best to you in Christ's
re-vatilizing name! Greetings from the Guigou's! My wife
Sara, and I send God's love from our home to yours.
My Wife, Sara and I moved
to the Tipp CIty, Ohio area early last month so that I
could begin serving on full time staff at CFFM. God has
been working in our hearts for some time as to the timing
and details of this change. As a part of the decision,
I have put my career as an architect on the back burner;
it has been a personal field of interest and employment
that I have greatly enjoyed and that God has bless for
30 years. However, our focus on the things of God and
for the outreach of God's Word has always been our first
love. Becoming an employee of a ministry organization
has not been a specific objective, but for many reasons,
we are convinced that our resent change is of God's design.
In the truest sense, it hasn't been a big change for us,
since we believe that every Christian is called to "full-time
ministry" at the time of their new birth. Sara and
I will simply be a bit less occupied in other secular
involvements, as we focus on serving the saints.
We look forward to being
involved in various aspects of the growing work, locally,
nationally and internationally. Of course, the work of
the ministry is more about building the Word in people
than it is about "building an organization,"
although I'm thoroughly excited about assisting to build
the work here in every way God directs. I sincerely believe
that God has been actively working since Pentecost in
the lives of individuals, families, ministries, ministers
and churches across the entire body of Christ. We are
certainly not the only ministry working for God, but we
are certainly called as one of them. Each individual ministry's
unique calling should be the most important mission to
those of that organization, if any work for the Lord is
to get accomplished, yet still appropriately respecting
the godly work of others.
Our move brought us from
Midland, Michigan where we had been thrilled to help support
a local homechurch community for the past eleven years,
in association with Christian Family Fellowship Ministry.
The fellowship there continues to thrive in loving homes
across id-Michigan. The local website can be viewed www.cffmm.org
As for our children, son
Micah is in Midland as a licensed realtor; Dottie just
began at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan.
Our son Grant and his wife of two years, Amelia Vogt,
live and work in Richmond, Virginia. Grant is in the human
resources department of First Market Bank while Amelia
teaches 3rd grade. All love God, Jesus Christ, the written
Word and people. We couldn't be more thankful!
For every Christian, our
greatest days can be ahead of us. God will certainly open
doors of service and utterance in any area where God's
people set their heart to walk with Him.
Zechariah 3:7
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my
ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt
also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts,
and I will give thee places to walk among these that
stand by.
Let's all continue to listen
for the Father's "still small voice" as he directs
our paths, our decisions and how we are to apply our long-suits
in the Body of Christ. Please let us know how we and the
Christian Family Fellowship can be of greater service
to you and those you love. We'd love to hear from you.
Onward and upward,
Your brother,
Kevin
