Dear Believers,

God bless you and greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
Mary Lou and I really enjoyed the beauty of the fall season as we drove through the Pennsylvania, New York, and New England states last month.

Isn't it something how God reminds us each year of "change," and how change is a continual and big part of life.

Daniel 2:20,21 (a)
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are His.  And He changeth the times and the seasons.

God changes the seasons. He must have had a good reason to change the seasons.  Every year we have the opportunity to observe the seasons change and to enjoy the beauty of each.  So should it be with the seasons of our lives, and the lives of others. Each has it's reasons and each has it's individual beauty.

In the fall we have the beautiful leaves that are landscaped before us.  In the winter there is the white blanket of snow that covers the trees and countryside, and brightens the night.  In the spring we have sowing of seed and new life springing up everywhere, along with the lovely flowers.  And in the summer we see the rich green foliage and the farmers crops growing, and putting a variety of colors across the fields.

Each season brings with it a beauty of it's own to enjoy for those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and the wisdom and heart to receive it.  Each has it's designated fruit for the time.
Our lives are like that.

Psalm 1:3(a)
And he shall be like the tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;...

In the gospel of John chapters 13 - 16, Jesus instructs his disciples of the events that were to happen and gives them promise for the things to come.

He also exhorts them to always be fruitful by abiding in him and in his words.

John 15:7,8,16(a)
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:...

Let us enjoy all the seasons of our lives and be fruitful in all that we are, so that God is glorified and praised.
The first Thanksgiving of 1621 was a celebration of a bountiful harvest.
May we celebrate many days of thanksgiving as we labor fruitfully and live in God's bountiful harvest.

Happy Giving Thanks and Glory To God.
