Dear Christian Believers,
God bless you, your families, and your friends in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ.

One very important thing in this life is our relationship with one another, HOW we think about one another, and treat one another. Recently I spoke with another clergymen and he mentioned that too many Christians tend to JUDGE others outside their group. In Romans 14:13 God specifically addresses this very topic.

Romans 14:13
Let us NOT therefore JUDGE one another ANY MORE: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or and occasion to fall in his brother's way.

God says don't judge one and another, and if you have been, DON'T do it any More. “Stop It!” The Greek word translated JUDGE in this verse is “krino” and it means ... “to divide, to separate, to make a distinction, to come to a decision, to judge, to pronounce a final judgment. Not merely a sentence of condemnation, but also a decision in any one's favour.” People JUDGE others to FAVOR themselves, and GOD says cut it out. People's lives and actions are judged by GOD and HIS Word. Being judgmental of others is being self-centered and full of self-importance, and it is something we are NOT TO DO. If being judgmental is your habit, then you may fall into the next category, and that is to be HATEFUL towards others.

Titus 3:2-3
To speak evil of NO MAN, to be NO brawlers, but gentile, shewing all meekness unto ALL men,
3 FOR we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers (many) lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, HATEFUL, hating ONE ANOTHER.

When we are judgmental of others, soon we start to speak evil of them, and maybe even battle with them especially with words. To the far extreme we even get into a physical confrontation. Then HATRED is produced and you end up hating one another. What does GOD say is the antidote to this kind of thinking and behavior? Be gentile and meek, remember your own foolishness, disobedience, being deceived and serving lusts, pleasures, malice and envy. GOD say remember your own bad self, your short comings and instead, be gentile and meek unto ALL men, including the ones you have judged and built up a hatred towards. Repent; Change your thoughts, your words and your actions. DO the Word and the will of GOD. Jesus Christ said we are to “Love One Another” even as he has loved us. He even said we are to love our enemies. If we fail to go the Word's way or GOD'S way we will be consumed with ANGER and a root of bitterness will find a home in our hearts and lives. GOD addresses this in:

Galatians 5:14-15
For ALL the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self.
15 But if ye bite and devour One Another, take heed that ye be NOT CONSUMED one of another.

When we allow ourselves to be judgmental and continue to speak evil of others, when we get into battling back an forth with words and even physical threats, and allow ourselves to be consumed with anger and hatefulness, then we become NO use to GOD or ourselves, for we have given ourselves over to the god of this world both in doctrine and practice. Look at how GOD says we are to treat one another, and think about one another.

I John 3:11
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that ye love one another.

Romans 14:19
Let us therefore follow after the things that make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify on another

Colossians 3:13
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also DO YE.

Don't just blow through life and react to others in ways of no profit. Stop and think about WHAT YOU THINK about others, and WHAT you are saying about them. Observe HOW YOU treat others, then THINK about GOD'S exhortation. Let us be examples for others to follow and become Christ like in what we THINK. SAY, and DO.

John
