Dear Christian Believers,
God bless you and your family in the powerful name of Jesus Christ.

In June this year Christian Family Fellowship Ministry will have been in existence for nine years. When we first began there was a tremendous need for healing the hearts and minds of believers. The first two years we concentrated on ministering to these needs. In 1998 1 received further guidance to produce teaching tools that could help dad and mom learn the Word of GOD, teach their children, and strengthen GOD’S families. These tools could also help anyone who wanted to learn the Word of God. It is GOD’S ...“ will for all men to be saved and come unto a knowledge of the truth.” (I Timothy 2:4). So we gathered leadership around the country and planned out the “Power of GOD” teaching series. We made decisions concerning what needed to be taught. who would teach, and that we should divide all material into four series: “Living In GOD’S Power,” “Growing In GOD’S Power,” “Led By GOD’S Power,” and “Ministering With GOD’S Power,” These tools, if utilized will help parents build a solid doctrine of GOD’S Word in their families, plus give them practical application of the scriptures. It will do the same for single people.

Now after 8 1/2 years we believe there is a need to be more structured in order to carry out the mission GOD has called us to. We will continue to send out the weekly CDs and tapes, plus the newsletters to whomsoever wants them; Our doors at CFFM will be open to all that are seeking a knowledge of GOD’S Word, and desire to fellowship with us. But we need to know who believes in what we are doing, and the Word of GOD we teach, who wants to be in association with us, involved with, and supportive of CFFM in our mission of reaching families and others with the Word of GOD around the world. The only way we are going to have any major impact on our generation with GOD’S Word is to band together on the accuracy of GOD’S Word, and to fully mature within it, by walking in the steps of Jesus Christ, and by doing the works that he did and greater. Then and only then will we be able to really help ourselves and others.

The first century Church had tremendous impact and power because they believed what the Word of GOD said about them, that when they got born again they received power from on high, and they manifested all nine manifestations of holy spirit. They studied and searched the scriptures and then acted on them as being the Word and will of GOD. The believers fellowshipped and worked together as witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ. They spoke the gospel of Christ with authority, and boldness. When people responded they continued to help them to mature in their learning and understanding. Then they also would be able to reach out to others and do the same. The First century Church believer’s fellowshipped together and met in their homes, they had Church in the home. They had leadership to pastor them. They developed new leadership; people shared their lives, talents, and resources to bless others. Opportunities to pray, share, teach and minister helped people grow,

Those with gift ministries helped the churches in the home by visiting and revisiting the areas to minister and to teach. Paul writes in Acts 20:20 “And howl kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have she wed you and taught you publicly, from house to house.” Paul communicated with the local churches. He wrote down the revelation GOD gave to him, and sent it out to the believers. Look at Paul’s greeting in his letter to the Corinthians; I Corinthians 1:2 “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth. to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:” Paul sent the letter to Corinth, but everything in the letter was to be shared with all the believers everywhere. They passed the letters around to all the churches to read no matter their location.

The believers were not focused on material things for themselves (there’s nothing wrong with prospering, but material things were not to be put above needs of GOD and HIS people).

The first century Church had spiritual ability and they used it. Their spiritual abilities went from potential power to kinetic power. They believed and used what was given them, and because they did their generation turned the whole world upside down. Acts 19:10 says that in two years an three months ... “All of Asia heard the Word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.” Every generation is to reach the world with GOD’S Word, that should be their goal.

This is a short version of how the first century church functioned and why it was so successful. It will work today for you and I if we will work together and stay committed to living GOD’S Word. If we commit to walking in the steps of Jesus Christ and do the works that he did. The Body of Christ is structured enough to get the job done, and we need to be structured enough to do the same, otherwise our generation will miss the lifetime we’ve been given.
