Dear Christian Believers,
May God bless you and your family in the name of Jesus
Christ.
In John 17 Jesus was praying for his disciples
and for those that would believe on him in the future.
John 1 7:20-23a
NEITHER pray I for these alone, (referring to the disciples)
but for them also which SHALL (future) believe on me
through their word.
THAT they ALL may be ONE’ as THOU, FATHER art in me,
and I in THEE, that they also may be one in us:
that the world may believe that THOU has sent me.
AND the glory which THOU gayest me I have given them;
that they may be ONE, even as we are ONE:
“I in them, and THOU in me, that they may be made
perfect in ONE; ...“
In Acts 2:4
this became possible and a reality with the outpouring
of the holy spirit and the new birth. Folks, it’s “God
in Christ in You the hope of glory,” Colossians
1:27. If we have GOD in Christ in Us - then we
operate all nine manifestations of holy spirit and that
includes Gifts of Healing. Wayne and I have been sounding
out the Word of God on the topic of ... Ministering
With God’s Power. We are reading the records
that teach us how we are to do the works of Jesus Christ.
On the day of PENTECOST we were equipped and made able
ministers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The born-again Christian needs to know what he
has and how to use it. We are making this knowlege available
through the doctrinal and practical teachings in the “Power
Of God” Biblical Series. All we can do is make
this knowledge available and encourage you to do the works
of Jesus Christ, but it is YOUR CHOICE , you make your
decisions.
Jesus has given us the authority of his name. Legally
it is called “Power of Attorney.” In Matthew 10:1
Jesus gave the 12 disciples power over unclean spirits,
to cast them Out, and to heal all manner of sickness and
all manner of disease.
Today we have that same authority and power.
John 14:13-14
AND whatsoever ye shall ASK IN MY NAME, that will I
DO that the FATHER may be glorified.
IF ye shall ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I Will DO IT.
It is repeated or said twice.
Whenever something in the Word of GOD is declared twice
- IT IS ESTABLISHED!
John 14:12
VERILY, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on
me, the works that I do shall he DO also; and greater
works than these shall he DO; because I go unto my FATHER.
We have the right and the
might to DO the works that Jesus did and greater. GOD
has given him a name above EVERY NAME, a name with Authority
and Power. Philippians 2:10 says every
knee must bow, (every name is beneath his name and is
subject to him), the names of SEA, WIND and WATER - the
names of ALL SICKNESS and DISEASE, past, present, and
future - the names of EVERY DEVIL SPIRIT that exists.
WE are sons of GOD and we’ve been given EXCEEDING GREAT
and MIGHTY POWER.
Ephesians 1:19-20
AND what is the exceeding greatness of HIS POWER to
US-WARD who believe according to the working of HIS
MIGHTY POWER.
WHICH HE wrought in Christ when HE raised him from the
dead, and set him at HIS own right hand in the heavenly
places.
Let us celebrate PENTECOST by
glorifying our GOD, and manifesting all we’ve been given
through the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of our Father.
Let us BELIEVE on him and do the works of Jesus Christ
and greater as He promised.
