and GOD bless you and your family, in the name of Jesus
Christ;
I was thinking of the song
we sing during our fellowships, "We've Great
Big Wonderful God," and how true that is. GOD
has done so much for us, and yet so many times we don't
appreciate HIM because we aren't manifesting the full
life HE has given us to live in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, hath
made us free from the law of sin and death.
We've been set free from
the law of sin and death, we have new life in Christ Jesus,
yet Christians tend to live far below par of what GOD
intended. Christians allow the world to dictate how they
are to think and feel rather than what the truth of GOD'S
Word declares. The greatest thing the world promotes and
dictates is to be afraid, to walk in fear, while The Word
of GOD declares we are to walk in LOVE, POWER, and with
a SOUND MIND. When are Christians who profess to be believers
going to really believe what GOD says in HIS Word rather
than become fearful of what the world says. The answer
to this question is in;
I Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds
of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious
gospel of Christ, who is the image of GOD, should shine
unto them.
The answer is ... Unbelief!
It all goes back to, doubt, worry, and FEAR, issuing in
UNBELIEF. If this is our problem, then we need to start
loving our "Great Big Wonderful GOD" bigger.
Spend more time reading HIS Word than newspapers, the
internet, books and magazine articles by the worlds so
called experts. Perfect Love casteth out fear. While faith
cometh by hearing the Word of GOD. When we believe HIS
Word we can walk in the freedom of the Spirit that is
in Christ Jesus.
We need not be afraid.
Isaiah 54:14-15
In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will
be far from you; You will have nothing to fear.
15 If anyone does attack you, it will not
be MY doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.
Psalm 118:6
The LORD is on my side; I WILL NOT FEAR: what can man
do unto me?
I WILL,
is the strongest language in the English language. WHAT
IS YOUR WILL? With GOD on our side, we always out number
our enemy, we cannot lose if we believe HIM.
In II Kings 6 is
the record of the Syrianarmy surrounding the city where
the prophet Elisha was staying. The king of Syria wanted
Elisha out of his hair because he would tell the army
of Israel where Syria was going to attack. So the king
of Syria sent his army against Elisha. When Elisha's young
servant had risen early and gone outside he saw the city
surrounded. He went to Elisha and asked him. What shall
We Do? Elisha said, "Fear Not!." Elisha prayed
to GOD to open the eyes of his servant, and the servant
saw the mountains full of GOD'S support of horses and
chariots of fire all around Elisha. Elisha prevailed because
he believed GOD. We must open our eyes to GOD'S Word and
see. YES, Folks We Do Have, "A Great
Big Wonderful GOD." Let's live like it!
