Dear Christian Believer,
God bless you and your families in the name
of Jesus Christ.
This morning I was thinking about the kind
of Love GOD has revealed to us through His Word and the
recorded life of Jesus Christ. It would be wonderful if
the whole world were to manifest GOD’S kind of love. I’d
be happy if every Christian would manifest His love.
I John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that GOD hath
to us. GOD IS LOVE, and he that dwelleth In love dwelleth
in GOD, and GOD in him.
The life of love
or love life is when GOD’S love is living in us,
and GOD’S love is being manifested in our lives as it
was in the life of Jesus Christ. This kind of love should
rule, and dominate the Christian Church, the Christian
home, and the hearts and lives of Christian men and women.
GOD’S love is unconditional. He loved the world (the people)
when He was not loved by the world. The love of GOD is
to the human heart ... as the beautiful flowers are to
the rocky hillsides or the mountain valleys. Just as flowers
grow around the rocks, and barren places, so it is with
GOD’S love. It will cover, and fill in the rugged and
barren places within our hearts and lives. The composer
and singer, Michael Bolton used to sing, “Love
Is a Beautiful Thing,” and it is. But many times
the most beautiful things are the most fragile, and yet
they have the most enduring strength. Love is such a one.
Christians need to be love of GOD filled, and overflowing.
They need to be love of GOD ruled and motivated.
Ephesians 4:15 says we are to
speak the truth in love. Service is another way of manifesting
GOD’S love. When we are living the life of love, we do
not shrink from sacrifice and service to GOD and His people.
Nor do we ignore our responsibilities. Jesus demonstrated
this kind of life in the way he loved, and sacrificed
himself in true service and obedience to his heavenly
Father. He taught us how to love and exhorted us to love
the way he did.
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, that ye Jove one
another: as I have loved you, that ye also love one
another.
35 By this shall all men
know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to
another.
Today Jesus sits at
the right hand of GOD. He is our mediator, our advocate
our intercessor, and our Lord. We are his witnesses, his
ambassadors, and his ministers. We are to believe on him
and do the same works that he did and greater, (according
to John 14:12). Jesus also gave us a
new commandment, “to love one another as he loved us.”
We are to be his witnesses, his ambassadors, his ministers,
and love with his love, (GOD’S love). It is our turn and
time to be his substitute and love and serve in his place
upon earth until he returns.
Love is the reason for man’s being. GOD created
us that we should love HIM and worship and no other.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5
Hear 0 Israel: The Lord our GOD is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the
Lord thy GOD with all thine heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy might.
• Love is the healing for every
wound.
• Love is the creative motive and force of creation.
• Love should be the reason for all parenthood, in every
culture, and the active ingredient concerning HOW they
raise their children and care for them.
• Love is the force that redeems wasted life, and makes
it useful again
• The heart is the life of man - BUT love is the life
of the heart.
‘LOVE IS SPIRITUAL” because
GOD IS LOVE, and HE invades the realm of the human heart
when we allow HIM in. When we step out of love ... We
step outside the will of GOD because HE is love and His
will is to be loved and to love one another. Maybe it’s
time for all of us to re-examine our lives concerning
how well we are loving GOD and one another. If we are
falling short, then perhaps we need to go to GOD and make
some changes in our words and deeds.
